The sixth OpenJDK Committers’ Workshop will be held on Friday, 2 February 2024, the day before FOSDEM, at Oracle’s office in Vilvoorde, Belgium. Vilvoorde is about 10 km (6 miles) from central Brussels, and reachable from there by both car and mass transit. For those traveling by car, there is ample on-street parking surrounding the venue on Koning Boudewijnlaan and Medialaan, and on other adjacent streets.

We’ll run the entire day as an unconference, with plenty of time to discuss both technical and community issues. We’ll have plenary sessions as well as some parallel sessions, to allow time for the discussion of specialized topics that are not of broad interest.

There will be no fee to attend but space is limited, so we ask that you register in advance. As at previous Workshops, preference will be given to Committers with a strong record of past contributions, though some space will be made for new Committers who have a strong potential for ongoing future contributions.

The venue will open at 0900. We’ll start at 0930 and finish by 1630. Food will not be provided, but there is a restaurant nearby for coffee and lunch.

Registration

To register, send a short e-mail message to workshop-reg@openjdk.org with your full name, employer (if any), and mobile phone number. This information will be used for registration purposes only and will not be shared outside of Oracle. You should receive a reply within 48 hours.

Due to the security policy of the venue, if you do not register in advance then you will not be admitted to the building.
